Back in December I wrote about a CD cover that I did for a LifeWay exclusive compilation CD, Positively Christmas. I also got to work on the next installment of the series. Check it out in LifeWay stores and online.

Carrying on the tradition, here is the calendar that I made for 2012. Continue reading to see an extra calendar that I made for this year. Continue Reading…
At work a few months ago, I got to work on a fun project. LifeWay was putting together an exclusive Christmas compilation CD and asked the designers in my area to submit designs. After they narrowed it down, mine was picked. It was sent to the record label that was putting the CD together. They added a border with the artists on the compilation to the cover and designed the rest of the package. And recently I found out that it is doing very well on the Billboard Charts. So far the CD has gotten as high as 46 out of all album sells for that week, 6th of holiday albums, and 2nd of Christian albums. While I know that the artists on the CD are what has sold so many copies, as well as LifeWay’s sale price of $5, it is still pretty cool to see this CD climb the charts.
Here it is on LifeWay.com • Here is the Billboard Chart page.

We took a quick trip to Chattanooga a few days ago and here are a few of my best pictures from Rock City and Ruby Falls. Continue Reading…
I posted all of my best Juarez pictures here. But below are my favorite pictures.
A couple of weeks ago, The ADVANCE Campaign was unveiled to our church. Its a three year giving campaign to raise money for a church building (we currently meet in a school), as well as planting another church, and sending more people out on mission trips. I designed the logo and the booklet for the campaign. Click on the image to virtually flip through the booklet. Go to insidePBF.com to find out more about the church and insidePBF.com/Advance to find out more about The Advance Campaign.
I’m excited that the new edition of JustTheSimpleTruth.com is finished and online. This is a website that I help design for a friend and old college roommate. He along with some other people write articles around a common theme each year. This year’s topic is Creation.
One of the several things that has kept me busy this summer was giving this site an cleaner and updated look. What started out as me just wanting to redo the home page turned out to be me reformatting all the pages. But I am pleased with how it turned out. So check it out, read the articles, and like it on Facebook.
I’ve gotten a little behind on posting my Project52 pictures and updating my TenBooks(2) list because of my mission trip to Mexico, but I hope to have everything up to date soon.
I took over 750 pictures and almost 2 hours of video. I’m still sorting through the pictures, but I’ve got a 5 min video edited of the trip. I borrowed a laptop and stayed up late Thursday night after crossing the border and on the plane coming home to edit this video so that it could be shown in church this morning.

I’ve been wanting to do some night photography for a while and finally got a chance last night. Here’s what I got.

Yesterday we went to the zoo to support some friends from church in a fundraising effort to cure cystic fibrosis. Here are some pictures I got while we were there.
